Secretary Notes

With the Ben Nevis Race becoming ever more popular, to increase your chance of getting a run, please use the following tips:-

Complete entry form in full and legibly

Do not date your cheque

Do not submit group applications with one cheque covering a number of individuals.

Enter e-mail address or mobile telephone number

There is an additional box for 2009. Those runners who are aiming for a Connochie Plaque will be given an element of precedence, and should enter the number of completed years in the box.

Even with an increased field of 600 runners, we were oversubscribed by 30%, therefore due to the huge volume of mail, there will be no correspondence between the secretary and individual runners

The Secretary will place on the website the provisional listing of accepted runners, if you are not on this list, and have not had your entry form returned, you are on the waiting list. No information on an individuals position on the waiting list will be given out.

To ensure fairness, all applications will be reviewed by a sub-committee and they will conduct an in depth check on a % of entry forms for accuracy.
