Entries Open

Online entries now closed.

This annual event is held on the first Saturday in September. Run from the foot of the highest mountain in the UK to the top, then back again.

You must have completed three category A races and be at least 18 years of age on 1st January 2017. (A defination of Category “A” races can be found on our website)

Entry limit is 600 and you can neither substitute your name nor number.

Please check that you are a member of a Bone fide Athletics Club before you enter this race. If it brought to our attention that you do not belong to a club your entry may be withdrawn.

IMPORTANT NOTICE – ROUTE CHANGES

Runners must no longer use the grassy bank for either ascent or descent during the race. When runners descend to the halfway point they must cross the burn, thereafter descend with the burn to the runners left. Runners may then proceed down the hill by whatever route they wish. What they must not do is run down the traditional route of the grassy bank. Failure to obey this rule will result in permanent disqualification from the race as runners descending the traditional grassy bank route are putting the future of the race at risk.

future use.
