Having had a chance to review and clarify this years 2025 entry rules it has been agreed as follows:-

Entry Requirements
Participants must have successfully completed a minimum of three Category AM Hill races within the last five years. AM races. (A definition of Category “AM” races can be found on SHR website or link below).

Exemptions WILL be granted under the following circumstances:
• Completion of the Ben Nevis Race in 3hours 30 mins or less in the past 5 years
Other exemptions MAY be granted under the following circumstances:
• Completion of similar Mountain / endurance running event in the past 5 years *
*Other exemption requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the committee and must be submitted with supporting evidence.
